Close to Messina Centrale and the port for ferries. The hotel has a charming old-fashioned style. Despite some language barriers, I enjoyed the authentic Sicilian experience. The location allowed for easy access to shops and attractions in Messina.

touring surpassed our expectations during carnival, resonating with us as a charming and Sicilian hotel. the old-fashioned decor, terrazzo-covered lobby, and lovely vintage furniture created a unique and quirky experience. plus, the convenient location next to the railway station and a short walk to the port and city center was perfect.
Noisy street-facing windows.

This hotel offers a unique Sicilian ambiance, with beautiful old furniture and an old Italian movie set-like hallway. It is located just minutes away from the port and is perfect for taking a ferry to the mainland. In the evening, there's a chance to explore Messina by walking. the rooms have interesting pictures and trinkets that add to the historical atmosphere.
One guest complained about the cleanliness of the shower and the strong smoke smell in a smoking room.

This hotel was the perfect place for a romantic escape. The antique decorations gave the room a unique and cozy atmosphere that we absolutely loved. The staff was kind and helpful, providing us with recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. We also appreciated that the hotel was located in a central area, just a short walk away from the train station and main shopping district.
The room lacked some basic amenities such as a mini-fridge and the bathroom was in need of an update. the noise from the street outside made it difficult to sleep at night.
